Okay, I know i havenot been writing here at all…..b/c i have been actually doing stuff and came to a realisation that to write on what i was doing on a daily basis…..trying to is to much to think about. i have alot going on…mainly with my production aspect of my life and with my husband and opportunities in regard to the entertainment biz……i dont even have time to make soap or sell it except really to local people where i live when i even have time. tmw i will have up finally with the help of my editor some segments of our travel show….if i remember then i will give you a link to the youtube channel we are creating and uploading now. just living life and alot going on with creating and that is it love, tastyp

Hoping all is well with everyone. I have been just absorbed with life i reckon. the same things as usual. trying to get more inventory up for sale and made for http://www.tastybathandbody.com I have been planning and working in the vegetable garden and have some friends that are helping me out in exchange for sharing the harvest. We have quite a big potato patch going that was double dug with goat poop 2 ft below……we are working on expanding the strawberry patches and preparing beds and seed planting in starting boxes. I am really into the dio-dynamic method. It is about sustainability and maximizes your yield by double. We have a large array of vegees to plant…..all organic seeds. i really like http://www.seedsofchange.com (i need to figure out how to hyperlink these sites & i will try to take photos of the gardening process) this gardening bit is alot of time as well as some stuff with my book and my husband is working on several things right now including a vineyard ranch real estate project where there will be alot of this biodynamic farming……i am working with his partner on what to plant for the ranch and sell at the farmer’s market ……..it has been colder up here in the pacific NW and we have received some much needed rain. I think i will go up and make a fire in the fireplace. it is a 2 sided fireplace with one side in the master bedroom and the other in the family room. once the fire is hot and going it makes some nice warmth and ambience. i really like to have a cocoa by a fire. and some olives……yeah i LOVE olives and we are growing them on the ranch/vineyard development…….bleu cheese stuffed are the best!!!!! hoping all is well otherwise out there, tastyp

Today is the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. It is very exciting no matter what your political views are. President Barack ignites the hope & joy in the hearts of the American people. His commanding presence and the way he speaks is spell bounding. He owns and emotionally feels each word. He is an amazing communicator. I would never think in my life time we would ever have an African American President. That in itself is incredible: to have the American public vote and elect a half black/ half white President with our history of racism! I feel the power and unity in the United States of America right now. The American people believe in President Barack. He can in my opinion lift the hearts of the Americans, revive the economy, improve health care, and create PEACE not war with all the nations in the world. To this day, on this historical day let the American citizens come together as a united front to be the best United States of America!

Guess what?

I am making soap! All day soap packaging with a tasty team member….tonight making soap….a men’s pine soap. I have been working on production stuff. Can I clone myself? My Children’s book, “The Wild Adventures of Strawberry and Skunk”, has a lot of information about the grand Redwood trees up here in Northern California. In the book the Redwood trees also take on a real life feel as they are protection to Strawberry and Skunk (the 2 goats in the book that are stolen) when they are lost in the forest. The Redwood trees are sad when the goats are taken by the country kids in the barn. At the end of the book the Redwood trees are full of joy. The ever-curious Brooke also learns about Redwood trees from the ever-wise goat man. Thusly, I thought in between tasks here I would post a poem about redwood trees i just found that i wrote:

OHH-

The Redwood tree;

Grand in glory.

A canopy,

Yet rare to the Earth.

Future Unkown……

Undeniable girth.

The forest gem;

Sacred friend.

I am very excited! Tasty Bath and Body is expanding! The objective with tasty bath and body is my ultimate goal to: LLC the business, trademark all items, brand and develop, build up internet presence, distribution and sell out like Burt’s Bees as a company with that high value. However, as i mentioned earlier it can be a kramer idea when i dont have the time & help (my husband is even helping now on all angles of tasty bath and body after his office hours he puts into real estate and productions- and we still need help)…..but now a good friend of mine is now helping me with making products and marketing which will in return help me if i am on location shooting something or whatever to know i can rely on someone. so, i have been doing some training with my friend for the bath business and about to order and push out the rest of the inventory for etsy.com which will be linked to tastybathandbody.com. so having the help with the bath biz is perfect timing b/c i have a phone appt with my book: “The Wild Adventures of Strawberry & Skunk” (copyright) tmw. i need to prepare for that…more and more positive things coming down the lane…now with this help with the bath biz now i can focus on working on my documentary and other production goals as well….i am excited about…will explain more…. later as things (or if things) work out with this documentary…….and of course i am working on like 5 other things with our real estate office and otherwise…….i am fixin to go and meditate b/c i am making more time for myself and i am accomplishing more…..my good friend from HS who sells on etsy.com too said to just make an appt with myself if i want more time and she gave good advice about etsy.com….thank you for that friend. i will check in @ a couple of days with new pics i am working on of landscapes etc. ……and more updates. hoping everyone is well out there………………………………………………take care, tastyp

Hey everyone! The sunset experiment was a challenge…..when i take a photo of a sunset it is easy to go on my deck and wait to capture the perfect pic of the sun as it sets. Our home is at 200 ft elevation. Today i went up to our ocean view mountain top property where i found it to be a challenge: 1. i am walking up the property which has a slope in crocs and trekking across weeds and vines. 2. the sunsets on the left side of the view….it is nearly impossible to capture the view from this property….it is 1100 ft in elevation and it is hard to capture the depth of the ocean and mountain view without a wide angle lens. 3. if i waited for the sun to set into dark; well i did not have a flashlight and knowing me i would be a tumblin down my hill. so in essence i only posted one photo…i took like 25.

The next photo my husband took today of a migrating whale spout in the pacific. this is very very difficult to capture in a pic b/c by the time you have a camera or if you have a camera ready they are already below the water. props out to my husband for that photo and the following one as well .

The next photo my husband took last night of the full moon coming over the mountain top reflecting the light upon the ocean. We had fun last night…..some of our friends had a campfire at the beach and it was nice to see the beautiful moon, glowing campfire, and catch up with a couple of peeps. saweeet!!!
